| I find myself in a big hairy hurry to get on with it, get things started, get them finished, get them off my desk, get on to the next thing — but, until I take delivery on the 238 rolls of custom formulated 2 inch magnetic recording tape that is being fabricated for me by Veranarawatana Ltd. of Chang Mai, Thailand, I find myself more or less sitting on my hands. Mind you I'm not complaining — this tape will be superfine, ultradank and most excellent for my purposes, coming as it does from the premier source in the particular part of the world that has the absolute perfect climatic conditions for the manufacture of magnetic recording tape — I mean, you will not believe the bloom my bass will have on this stuff, the dimensionality, the pitchiness, pace, and rhythm — the coercivity, the slew rate on this batch will be unbelievable. Also, Mr. Batwaan puts in each and every box "une petite cadeau pour moi"... | ||||||||
| In the meantime, I want to share with you some of the other projects I have been working on these last couple of years. Some of my research has taken me a bit off the beaten path and not all of it will be of interest to everyone or perhaps anyone — I certainly realize that, I'm not drunk and I'm not crazy — but rest assured that all the diverse avenues I have been exploring are intrinsically related to my overall artistic and philosophical goals concerning musicmaking, communication, self-expression, personal growth, financial wellbeing, spiritual practice and fitness, intellectual stimulation and so on — in other words I want to give back to my fans some of what they've given me in the course of my life's journey, although I've already spent about 95% of the money so I can't very well give any of that back — I'm sure you understand. | ||||||||
| In any case, I want to assure you that everything that will be presented is totally relevant to music I have written and which I am going to record immediately, once the tape gets here. It shouldn't be too much longer in coming now — and if it is, something has gone very very wrong and this page will likely become an offshore gambling site or some such thing. But, unless and until this becomes the case, I want to urge you to hang in there with me and enjoy the ride. Also — this is very important — I strongly suggest that you EXPLORE EVERY THREAD, FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AS CLOSELY AS IS POSSIBLE FOR YOU IN YOUR CURRENT LEVEL OF ATTAINMENT AND LIFE-SITUATION, STAY CURRENT WITH THE WORK, RESPECT THE PROCESS, AND KNOW THAT THE PAYOFF IS ONGOING AND CUMULATIVE AS WELL. | ||||||||
| That is to say, all that will soon be offered herein will not only enhance the experience of the finished product — yours and mine — but will serve to expand our awareness of the n-dimensional universe of possibility and prosperity which is our birthright and our legacy. It is no exaggeration to say that many questions which may have arisen during our lives will be illuminated and informed by the work we do together in the next couple of months. Questions from all realms of thought and experience — "why am I the way I am?" "what did I look like before I was born?" "should I buy another stratocaster?" "what are dotted notes?" "whose idea was this Johnny Damon deal?" — all sorts of things really, you will be amazed! So hang in there and we'll all cross the Finish Line together, I promise. | ||||||||
